Cedar Lodge

Set amongst landscape as beautifully diverse as it is breath taking, rolling green pastures, ancient woodlands and a modern, luxurious design are just a few of things that will welcome you when you stay at Cedar Lodge.

The spacious and open plan lodge, with its floor to ceiling windows and doors, easily absorbs the beauty of the surrounding scenery to flow into its modern and contemporary design. With picturesque surroundings, and deep sofas next to a crackling fire for those days where you simply want to cuddle up to a loved one; there will be no need to worry about the unpredictability of the British weather when booking your holiday.

Set in the South Downs National Park, an escape to Cedar Lodge is a real opportunity to escape the hustle of everyday life. The South Downs Way National Trail covers 160 kilometres, so you can walk through ancient woodlands, carpeted with bluebells; watch roe deer darting through wildflower meadows; witness hares boxing or even spot a red kite hunting above.

“We had a wonderful time, the lodge is amazing and so comfortable. We will definitely be back.” Janet – Wells, Somerset.

“A beautiful, clean, well equipped, quiet and warm lodge in a secluded location. The lodge is of a very high spec and equipped with everything you could need. The rooms are warm and cosy especially the lounge area when the sun comes through the large windows. Comfortable bed and lovely crisp linen with a lovely en-suite and fab large shower. It’s a great location in the South Downs, just minutes drive to Hassocks for local shops and places to eat and just 15 mins to the centre of Brighton. It's easy to find and a very quiet, secluded location. There are 3 lodges on this relatively new site which seem to have been very well built and the site itself is very pretty. Many thanks for a lovely stay.” Damien - Bishop Auckland, Durham

My holiday with Maple Lodge was wonderful. The accommodation was lovely, modern and classic, whilst staying very simple. The beds were comfy and the showers were great. The location is great, being not too far from Brighton itself, but staying far away enough to feel like you are in the countryside. I especially appreciated the small touches, like a basket of cake, biscuits, bread, tea, coffee and sugar, as well as a jug of milk a small chunk of butter that greeted us on our arrival, to ensure that we weren't left hungry on the first morning of our stay. I would definitely stay again, and recommend to my friends. Lauren – Rochford, Essex
